After graduating from HSPVA in 1974, I attended Texas Technological University for three years - then dropped out and worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for a decade.

Then, by resetting my ambition to make a difference in this world, and my life, I followed a passion to become a Research Microbiologist in Neuro-Oncology - it took over my life.

After an amazing eights additional years, I received my doctorate, and was recruited for a professorship position at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Hospital, Clinics, and Research Institute in the Texas Medical Center, Houston.

After completing six projects in 20 years, I retired due to acquiring Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus and became an invalid living in a nursing facility in Katy.

Also, my need to continue my studies as a violinist never waned.
